About Water Sort - Color Sort Puzzle

The sorting puzzles have taken multiple forms in games with one of the oldest examples being the fox, chicken, and grain conundrum. In this game, you're just worried about different colored water, or more accurately sauces. The problem is that the longer you take to solve the puzzle, the harder it's going to be to separate the sauces from each other. You need to be able to identify the colors and amounts quickly so that you can keep the liquids moving and stop them from settling. If you can pull this off, then maybe you'll get the chance to make some new sauces.

How to Play

Water Sort - Color Sort Puzzle is a 2D sorting puzzle game about pouring sauces back into their bottles using the mouse. To select a bottle, move the cursor over to it and click the Left Mouse Button. Do the same to select the second bottle that you want to pour its content into. The goal is to move all the different sauces around until each one is in its bottle. The timer will be shown at the top of the screen and if it runs out, then you'll have to try again.

When you start, you can choose what level of challenge you'd like to take. There are three descending from easy to hard and a challenge mode. The harder the mode, the more bottles and more types of liquid you'll need to sort. When you choose your mode, you'll be taken to the level select screen where you can choose any level you've unlocked via progress. Each level will present a certain number of bottles with differing amounts of liquid at the center of the screen. You can only pour liquid into a bottle with a top layer of liquid that has the same color, after which the pouring will stop. You need to systematically move the liquids around, gathering more of the same until they can all be poured into one bottle.

Tips and Tricks

The timer at the top may be distracting, but it ticks down slowly and you have time to examine the bottles. As such, you should work from the top layers down and keep in mind the bottom layers of each bottle. Like a Rubik's Cube, focus on one color first.
