How to Play

Fortnite Nerf Battle is a 2D top-down shooting game about taking out appearing enemies using the mouse or keyboard.

W/Up Arrow - Move Up
S/Down Arrow - Move Down
A/Left Arrow - Move Left
D/Right Arrow - Move Right

You can also click and hold the Left Mouse Button on the screen and drag the Cursor around to move your character. The goal is to eliminate as many enemies and collect as many V-Bucks as possible. All of your stats are shown at the bottom of the screen with your health being represented as Shield. If this drops to nothing, the game ends.

Before you start, you can choose which character you want to represent you. You'll then spawn on an empty field and the screen will scroll up as your character automatically moves with it. You can still move freely about the screen as you see fit within the boundaries. As the screen scrolls, enemies can spawn from any side of the screen and will shoot at you. They can spawn in various formations, move in certain ways, and use different kinds of bullets. You'll constantly be firing and all you need to do is guide your character to line up the shots with the targets and eliminate them.

While moving, you'll come across chests that will give you power-ups. Depending on the chest, your shots will be improved, your fire rate will increase, your Shield will be restored, or you'll collect a large batch of V-Bucks.

Tips and Tricks

Early on, it makes sense to stay near the bottom of the screen where enemies won't be and you can move safely. As you reach new waves, you'll need to move a bit further away from the bottom to avoid sneak attacks. Strafing is effective for eliminating large groups of enemies before they have a chance to attack.
