Crazy Axe

Crazy Axe

Admit it, you've seen people throwing axes and thought it looked pretty cool, but it's much trickier than it looks and that's why we have Crazy Axe. You are playing as someone who has dedicated their life to the art of throwing axes. You have an entire environment to yourself where there are all sorts of targets floating ahead and just waiting to be axed. Some animals would benefit from your axe throwing as well as large beasts that could be cut down to size. Just be grateful that there isn't someone out there trying to give you the axe.

About Crazy Axe

We live in an age where we really don't need axes in our daily lives, but they're still tools that many of us would swing around gleefully. This is a game that gives you a safe environment to throw all the axes that you want. That's where you get your first challenge and the harsh reality that you don't have an infinite number of axes. It would be nice, but you need to make do with what you've got. You're not just trying to destroy targets to show your throwing skills, but also so that you can keep the axes flying.

How to Play

Crazy Axe is a 3D first-person arcade game about throwing axes at targets and fighting bosses using the mouse. To aim the axe, move the cursor to where you want to throw it and then click the Left Mouse Button to throw it. Your tracking info and the number of axes you have left will be on the right side of the screen. The goal is to complete the objectives listed in the tracking info and then confront the boss at the end. If you run out of axes before the tasks are completed, you'll need to try again.

Before you start throwing, you can spend any cash you've earned on different kinds of objects to throw which will do different kinds of damage. Once you're equipped, you can head into the wilderness to start throwing. The thrower will move forward at their own pace as targets appear ahead of them. Each target destroyed will give you more axes to throw. Some targets will require multiple axes to break such as those with locks or treasure chests. There will also be cages with trapped animals that you can hit with an axe to free. After you complete the tasks, you'll confront a boss against whom you'll have a limited amount of time to throw as many axes as you can and then collect your reward.

Tips and Tricks

Despite being an arcade game, there is a calm pace to the overall experience. Don't feel the need to destroy every single target you come across, it's okay to miss a few. The axes will travel in an arc and can be thrown quite far with a high chance that they'll hit something. Chests require around three axes to open and will reward you with five.
